GEOS will stay in touch with you and your emergency contacts until your situation is resolved.

Earthmate App

Earthmate is a full-featured GPS navigation app and off-the-grid satellite connection. With Earthmate, you can use your smartphone or tablet to access downloadable maps. Pairing via Bluetooth with compatible inReach-enabled products lets you use the app on your mobile device to send two-way text messages – and even link to your social media accounts – globally. The app can also pair inReach with your mobile device's address book, so it's easier to stay in touch.

Important Subscription Details

All prices are subject to change. inReach devices require satellite subscription activation to access the Iridium® satellite network for live tracking and messaging functions, including SOS.

All plans are billed monthly. Subscription plans listed above are for individual consumers only. Plans include applicable VAT. Additional charges apply to text messages, tracking points, and location pings exceeding selected plan limits. For Service Plans that include unlimited texting or tracking, message transmission speeds may be reduced following a period of heavy use. SOS message transmission speed will not be impacted. All annual plans are subject to $29 AUD activation fee. No charge applies to changing to a more inclusive annual plan; a $37 AUD fee applies to changing to a less inclusive annual plan.

Enrollment in Freedom plans is subject to a $37 AUD annual fee. Freedom plans’ minimum term is 30 days. New 30-day minimum applies to changed Freedom plans. No charge applies to changing a Freedom plan. Service can be suspended a month at a time at no charge. User retains access to inReach data stored on Explore portal while account is suspended. Selected plan auto-renews monthly unless user changes account selections in Explore portal.

All plans are billed monthly. US plan prices do not include: Federal Universal Service Fund Fee and applicable state/local taxes. Non-US plans include applicable VAT. Additional charges apply to text messages, tracking points, and location pings exceeding selected plan limits. Top users may experience decreased message speeds. All plans are subject to a one-time $37 AUD activation fee. Reactivation of a cancelled inReach Flex plan is subject to the one-time activation fee. Flex plans’ minimum term is 30 days. New 30-day minimum applies to changed Flex plans. No charge applies to changing a Flex plan.

Service can be suspended one month at a time for $8 AUD per month. Users retain access to inReach data stored on the Explore portal while account is suspended. Selected plan auto-renews monthly unless user changes account selections in Explore portal.
