A Realistic Ride

A Realistic Ride

This trainer is designed to simulate a close-to-real-life outdoor ride, including advanced NEO technology such as dynamic inertia. Road feel even lets you experience different road surfaces, such as cobblestone, and gear feel mimics the sensation of your chain jumping to a different gear.

Quiet, Powerful and Accurate

The combination of NEO Smart technology and the internal design of the NEO Bike Smart results in one of the most silent, powerful and accurate smart bikes available. It powers up to 2,200 watts, simulates climbs realistically up to a 25% incline and measures your data accurately within 1%.

Fully Connected

The trainer communicates via BLUETOOTH® Low Energy technology15 and ANT+® FE-C protocol, making it compatible with a number of popular training apps. So whether you want to use Tacx software to ride a famous course, take on the virtual worlds of Zwift or utilize other platforms such as TrainerRoad, this bike trainer lets you ride smarter than ever before. More Silent Than Ever

More Silent Than Ever

By redesigning the magnets, the NEO 2T Smart is quieter than ever before. Any noise generated from internal air displacement or vibrations that transfer to the floor is greatly reduced.

Improved Power and Intensity

A revamped, redesigned motor is able to deliver even more power at low speeds, resulting in a highly improved ride feel during a climb or acceleration. It still can resist sprints up to 2,200 watts and simulate climbs up to a 25% incline.

More Ways to Analyze Pedal Stroke

Take pedal stroke analysis to the next level. By adding cycling dynamics with standard ANT+® connectivity, NEO 2T Smart lets you analyze your pedal stroke via third-party software, including the software on our Edge® bike computers.

Our Most Realistic Ride

Made to simulate an outdoor ride as realistically as possible, NEO 2T Smart allows for side-to-side movement, which follows the natural course of your body. And aside from dynamic inertia, which significantly improves the ride feel, it features descent simulation and road feel, which simulate different road surfaces, such as cobblestone.

Advanced Technology

The drive to constantly innovate and improve is what Tacx is known for. In taking on great challenges, the company is able to detect and push limits with every product it designs. It’s all done in-house, resulting in cutting-edge products, efficient control of production and groundbreaking designs. For example, the unique NEO Smart technology was designed with the goal to create “the ideal trainer.” To optimize power efficiency from pedal to motor, all physical transmissions — such as belts or rollers — are eliminated. This results in a very efficient system that measures performance with an exceptional accuracy, with greatly reduced noise levels and no need for calibration.

For the Love of Cycling

For the Love of Cycling

Since the company’s start in 1957, Tacx has been highly involved in cycling. This love for the sport has always guided the company’s decisions and made Tacx the innovative leader it is today. When riders required high-quality bike parts, Tacx started producing the products themselves. When riders needed a way to warm up before a race, Tacx made rollers. When riders needed to train effectively during winter, Tacx came out with indoor bike trainers. And when more efficiency was required during training, Tacx made their trainers interactive. To this day, Tacx remains dedicated to serving the needs of fellow cyclists so they can better enjoy the sport.

Future Focused

Future Focused

Tacx has always had an eye to the future. As a company, they have always taken up the greatest challenges and pushed limits of what is technically possible to create groundbreaking products with state-of-the-art designs. In 2000, they were among the first to connect computer electronics to bike trainers and introduce an entirely new way of training. With the development of NEO Smart in 2015, Tacx introduced one of the most accurate, realistic, powerful and silent trainers to date. Whatever the future holds, Tacx is poised to remain at the forefront of developing new and exciting technology.

Since 1957

Since 1957

On May 1, 1957, Tacx opened its doors as a bike and repair shop in the Netherlands. It wasn’t until 1964 that they started manufacturing exhausts for mopeds — the company’s first step toward bigger and better things. In 1969, the bike shop in town gave way to a small factory that produced rollers and then indoor bike trainers and bike carriers for cars. What started as a small shop and modest manufacturer has grown into a global brand that develops and offers innovative products for athletes in more than 80 countries.

For Champions

For Champions

Supporting cyclists is what Tacx was born to do. They are a technical partner of many WorldTour teams, Pro Continental teams, Continental teams, Women's teams, triathletes, ice skaters, cyclocross and MTB teams. It is this close relationship with professional cyclists and federations such as the UCI that allows Tacx to create the kind of products that pros rely on.
